Steve and Tina were honoured when both sons decided to join the company on leaving school. In doing this the future of the company became priority. Partnering with local training provider, PM Training, Holdcroft Heating has given apprenticeships to many local teenagers. We work together to provide training for our existing employees, at present 8 Engineers completing NVQ's in Team Leadership, 3 completing NVQ in Management Skills and 2 administrators completing NVQ level 2 in Business Studies.
The companies ethics of investment in training has demonstrated the rewards we have achieved over the 21 years, examples are:
• 33% of existing employees completed apprenticeship within company and are retained with the workforce. Mr Darren Barrs who was an apprentice in 2002 is the company Gas Manager.
We believe that care and time invested in our workforce, means that everybody reaps the benefits.
